Getting here
We are right on the road at Bandarichowr. You cannot miss the sign, and there is parking out front.
Ways to reach us
Sample directions. The owner will update these with real routes and times.
By car or bike
Follow the main road up from town and look for the Bandarichowr junction. The restaurant is on the view side of the road. Parking for about 30 cars and plenty of bikes.
By local bus
Any bus heading up the hill road stops at Bandarichowr. Tell the conductor "view point" and get off at the junction. We are a one minute walk.
On foot
Popular with morning walkers. The road is paved the whole way and the climb is steady rather than steep. Tea is waiting at the top.
Best time for the view
Early morning in autumn and winter gives the clearest air and the longest view. Evenings are good all year for the lights coming on across the valley. In monsoon, come after rain when the clouds lift.
The terrace is open in all weather. The covered section keeps you dry, and we have blankets for cold mornings.
